Memory that travels with the file
A .3dm file carries geometry. It rarely carries why you made a change, who branched from whom, or what license applies.
Esi attaches memory to the timeline — commits, branches, citations — so the file and its story stay together from studio to screen.
II.O is about making that memory portable: open a vault years later and still read the line, not just the mesh.
What we're working on
- Richer commit metadata on disk
- Fork citations that survive export
- Compare view that shows intent, not only diff
